BAY VIEW BEACH, WEST YARMOUTH
Located at the end of Bay View Street (road past Cape Cod Hospital Parking Lot)
Do you love the idea of sitting on a mid-sized beach with not much foot traffic and watching boats pass by? Bay View Beach may just be the beach for you! This charming stretch of sand offers relatively calm waters and the opportunity to watch boats pass by on their way in and out of Hyannis Marina.

COLONIAL ACRES BEACH, WEST YARMOUTH
Located at the end of Standish Way
Colonial Acres Beach is mid-sized with calm waters, making it a popular spot for families with young children. Cross the wooden bridge onto a beach full of small rocky treasures and enjoy a view of the bay featuring a rocky jetty and boats coming and going from Hyannis Harbor.

Located off Seagull Road off South Sea Avenue
Looking for a popular spot on Nantucket Sound? Seagull beach is large stretch of sand that hosts many activities such as wind surfing, swimming and beach games. Despite its name, it is home to very few seagulls! The beach offers clean sand, calm water, a large parking lot and plenty of room despite its popularity.

THATCHER’S BEACH, SOUTH YARMOUTH
Located on South Shore Drive
Thatcher Beach is located in South Yarmouth on Cape Cod. The beach overlooks Nantucket Sound and its calm water and small waves make it a great place to relax for the day and enjoy the view. There is no lifeguard on duty. There is some parking available, and a daily parking fee or beach parking sticker is required.

BASS RIVER BEACH (SMUGGLER’S), SOUTH YARMOUTH
Located on South Shore Drive
This Cape Cod Beach offers it all with a boat launch, ample parking, fishing pier, snack bar, facilities and lifeguards. This beach is spacious and offers a great view with calm waters.

PARKER’S RIVER BEACH, SOUTH YARMOUTH

Parker’s River Beach (aka Beachwood) is a long, narrow beach situated in South Yarmouth. People come for the great views, rock jetties and ample parking. The beach does get a bit crowded, but it is for good reason.

Overlooking Nantucket Sound, Sea View Beach offers great views and very clean sand. This mid-sized beach does not tend to get overly crowded and offers parking right next to the beach.

SOUTH MIDDLE BEACH, SOUTH YARMOUTH
Located on South Shore Drive
This is a resident only beach and requires a residential sticker to park and access the beach. Unlike most Cape Cod Beaches, there is a good amount of sand away from the water’s edge. The water is relatively calm and warm but can see a moderate amount of seaweed at times.

This Yarmouth beach is mostly known for being a boat launch. There is a very small section of sand that is only there during low tide.

WINDMILL BEACH, SOUTH YARMOUTH
Located off River Street
Windmill Beach gets its name from the historic windmill nearby. This is a smaller beach which is practically non-existent during high tide. The sand is muddy but rich in seashells.
BASS HOLE (GRAY’S BEACH), YARMOUTH PORT
Located off Center Street
A long boardwalk takes you over a salt marsh to the beach. Bass Hole (aka Gray’s Beach) is a great spot to explore wildlife and let kids be kids. Low tide draws out much of the water leaving behind calm tide pools for the youngest of beach-goers to splash around in.
