Overview: The Volunteer of the Year Award honors one who exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and community leadership through participation in Chamber of Commerce committees, programs, and activities.
Criteria:
- Shows dedication by actively participating in volunteer activities and going above and beyond what is expected.
- Aligns with the organization’s values and mission, embodying its principles and contributing to its overall goals.
- Has made a positive impact on the organization or community they serve, demonstrating the significance of their contributions.
- Is reliable, punctual, and consistently available to support the organization’s activities or initiatives.
- Works well with others, contributes positively to the team’s dynamics, and collaborates effectively with fellow volunteers or staff members.
Eligibility:
- Nominations must be made by a member of the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce.
- Any volunteer, excluding a volunteer related to and Yarmouth Chamber Board of Directors, is eligible for this award.
Selection Process: The majority vote of the Board of Directors must be received to recommend a nominee for the Volunteer of the Year award.
Presentation: The recipient will receive the award in person at the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Dinner on October 16, 2024, at the Loft Restaurant at 5:30 PM.
Deadline for Entry: Friday, September 20, 2024.
