Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail: Celebrating 15 Years of Artistry
Welcome to the 15th anniversary of the Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail! This cherished annual tradition returns for the 2026 season, transforming Yarmouth into a town-wide gallery of incredible sand art. From mid-May through mid-October, visitors can explore over 30 remarkable sculptures, each meticulously hand-carved by the professional artists at Fitzysnowman Sculpting. Using over 120 tons of specialized sculpting sand, these three-ton masterpieces represent the largest trail in the U.S., offering a unique and memorable experience for the whole family.
Who are the Artists?
Fitzysnowman Sculpting is a Massachusetts-based, nationally recognized business that provides unique experiences through the use of art created live and in the studio. The artists are best known for creating the Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival and the first indoor winter sand sculpting contest for Worcester First Night. As the originating artists for the Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail, they return this year to bring their acclaimed expertise to our 15th-anniversary season.
Whether you are following the trail with a printed map from our Visitor Center or joining the fun online through our People’s Choice and weekly photo contests, there are endless ways to engage with the trail this year. Join us in celebrating 15 years of magic in Yarmouth—a project proudly supported by the Town of Yarmouth’s Tourism Revenue Preservation Fund.
